Vanilla Cake

Recipe using: Piñeyro Dark Vanilla Flavoring

 

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 teaspoons of Piñeyro Dark Vanilla Flavoring
  • 350 grams of wheat flour.
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 300 grams of refined sugar
  • 170 grams unsalted butter, softened
  • 350 milliliters of milk

Time: 1 hr / Difficulty: Medium / For how many people?: 6

 

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Grease 3 baking pans (20 cm each), cover the bottom with wax paper.
  2. Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt, 3 times. Reserve.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they sponge. Gradually add 100gr of sugar and continue beating until the whites form soft peaks.
    In a separate bowl, beat the butter until it becomes creamy. Gradually add 200 grams of sugar and continue beating until it sponges. Gradually add the mixture of flour, baking powder and salt, alternating with the milk, creating a homogeneous mixture after each addition. Add the vanilla. Wrap the whipped whites until perfectly integrated. Divide dough into 3 molds evenly.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Test the stick, and remove from the oven until ready. Let the molds cool for 10 min. Unmold and let the breads cool.
  5. Place the loaves one on another, with the layer of bitumen of your preference between each bread.
  6. Decorate and enjoy.
